Your home, whether new or existing, represents an investment and requires regular maintenance to keep it in good shape and needs to be regularly inspected by a qualified building inspector as an assurance for you and your home.

Home maintenance is not expensive if it is done on a regular basis, however if it is let go, small problems can become major and sometimes structural problems that are difficult (and usually expensive) to rectify. We DO FIND these issues at our building inspections and photograph them for ease of detection and for your decision making.

Think of a building inspection from H & K Ryan & Associates as a bit like getting a pink slip for your car. Minor problems can be identified before they can escalate. Simple recommendations that will keep your new home purchase safe, secure and in good condition. We are also licensed Builder's, therefore we can cost out the repairs for you, only if required. A separate building report with these costs of repair works or rectification works can be provided to our clients at a small cost.

H & K Ryan & Associates recommend reports be carried out every 12 - 18 months on any home as part of your preventative maintenance program and to nip problems in the bud before they become a costly item.

Preventative Maintenance is like a Healthy Home Check-up and this should be carried out by competent contractors annually, at H & K we can assist you in your property maintenance.
